India Trip News June 06

Hello All,
Am scheduled to leave from USA on 1 June evening, changing planes in UK, and finally landing in Delhi 2nd June night.
3rd June night am booked on overnight train to Haridwar; then taking jeep or taxi the final 5 hours to Uttarkashi and Shankar Math ashram.
Many ask about the time to travel.
US - UK around 6 hours
3?hr layover
UK - India 8-9 hrs
Delhi to Haridwar around 6 hours
Haridwar to Uttarkashi about?6 hours
Total : around 27 hours

6th: Inauguration of Himalaya Vaidyashala Ayurveda Panchakarma Spa
7: Tirodhan for our late Guruji; feeding the saints and village children

Arrived in Delhi 2nd night and left 3rd night?for Uttarkashi by night train (Musoorie Express). Reached Haridwar around 7:30am and took taxi to Uttarkashi. Due to the new Tehri dam, a new road had to be construced to replace the one that was flooded. It?mades the trip 1 hour longer, more curvy and narrow. Next year a new road from Dehradun should be there making the trip only 3 hours to Uttarkashi!
well Uttarkashi was a delight - around 75-80 degrees.
early morning?Ganga bathing, yoga,?sadhana surrounded by pure air, Himalayan mountains, and the roaring sound of Ganga herself.
we had some wonderful music concerts, blending western and eastern music.
the new ayurveda spa?inauguration was wonderful. the building is beautiful. will add pics when I return. It looks like a slice of heaven.
Now back in Delhi. Return to USA on 18th (2 days).?
