In the present paper an attempt is made to correlate the yoni vyapad and arthava vyapad conditions explained in classics with endometriosis and analyze the possibilities of successful treatment which is lacking in the modern science. Modern aetiological theories and treatment is also discussed. And the essay also presents some information regarding current research in the field of endometriosis. </font>]]></description>
